Restore Law and Order to Ontario’s Highways
Ontario highways should not be a free pass for rogue operators who shamelessly break the law.
You can help stop them today by joining our campaign to restore law and order.
Weak enforcement is letting bad actors dodge safety checks and syphon billions of dollars in tax revenue to fund an underground economy. The laws are there. Enforcement isn’t.
Ontario families deserve highways where safety comes first.
Sign up today to demand the Government of Ontario takes action.
No More Escaping the Scales
Truck inspection stations only work when they are open. Ontario should keep them running 24/7 with full enforcement teams on site so bad actors cannot slip through.
No More Unknown Carriers
Too many trucking fleets are operating without ever being inspected. Ontario should end the “Satisfactory-Unaudited” category and require regular checks for every fleet.
Stop Protecting High-Risk Carriers
Ontario’s insurance system should not be giving unsafe trucking companies a lifeline when private insurers would say no. It’s time to reform these outdated rules and stop shielding high-risk operators from accountability.
Take Organized Crime Off Our Roads
Truck theft, extortion, and violence are rising across Ontario. The province must fund enforcement to match the scale of the threat and strengthen security at truck inspection stations.
End the Siege on Local Communities
Illegal truck yards and unauthorized parking are disrupting communities and overwhelming local enforcement. Ontario and the federal government must back municipalities with real enforcement support and lawful truck parking solutions.
Fix Training to Improve Safety in Northern Ontario
Drivers handling complex commercial vehicles need better training, especially on Northern Ontario highways. Ontario should complete its training review and introduce licensing rules that match drivers to the vehicles they operate.
Fair Competition Starts with Fair Rules
Some companies are still cutting costs through illegal driver misclassification and unfair labour practices. Ontario should expand audits and enforcement against Driver Inc. and other non-compliant models.
If we don’t draw the line here, there may be no line left to draw.
